Hi loves! Today I’d like to share with you the last of the manicures in my Sleeping Beauty Nail Art Series (I also have Princess Aurora and Maleficent mani posts). This one is dedicated to the Fairies that help raise and protect Princess Aurora: Merryweather, Fauna and Flora. I love how these ladies are a nice reminder that we are never alone, even if we can’t exactly see our guardian angels.
For this manicure I used the following products:
- Essie Fiji, Boxer Shorts, Ruffles and Feathers, She’s Pampered, Blanc and Mint Candy Apple; Jessica Cosmetics Banana Peel; and P2 Sunrise
- One medium and one small nail art dotting tool (I have this set)
- A small nail art detailing brush
To begin, I painted all of the base colors (Fiji on my index, Boxer Shorts on my middle, Ruffles and Feathers on my ring, and She’s Pampered on my pinky fingernail) and let them partially dry. I then used my smallest nail art dotter and applied the white polka dots to each of the fingernails.
Then I used a medium nail art dotter and Jessica Cosmetics Banana Peel to apply the yellow flowers to two opposing corners on each of my fingernails. Lastly, I applied the small details on the flowers (leaves and interior dimension) using Essie Blanc and Mint Candy Apple and P2 Sunrise. Check out the quick video tutorial below to see these steps in action:
This manicure is one of my all-time favorites! I love the delicate, vintage vibe of the design and will likely be doing a Fall version of this beauty in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
Thanks for stopping by!
