Hi Lovelies! Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all of my readers in the United States! I have a very serious question for you today: what will you be drinking with your Thanksgiving dinner? Perhaps this lovely beverage:
I’m a Coca-Cola girl at heart, so I will be drinking the original red classic tomorrow, however today I’d like to show you the gorgeous silver polish My Signature is DC by OPI, a shimmer polish based on the silver found all over Diet Coke cans.
In the past I was totally a Diet Coke groupie, but not for the taste, simply to avoid all of the sugar found in the original classic Coca-Cola drink. Now that I drink soda so infrequently, I usually spring for the real thing when I have the chance. Needless to say, this gorgeous silver polish is amazing!!!
The swatch in these pictures is two coats of My Signature is DC topped with one coat of Essie Good to Go Topcoat. The formula on this shimmer polish is fabulous: went on smoothly and sparkles like crazy. The only caveat I have is that the polish is not very forgiving if you have a less than stellar (smooth) nail surface.
My Signature is DC dries to a lovely foil finish and looks fabulous on its own or as a base for tape manis. This one is in my go-to bin for the holidays; I’ve already used it multiple times this winter season!
Thanks for stopping by!
