It’s finally time for a healthy dose of loveliness courtesy of the Limited Edition Breakfast at Tiffany’s Collection by OPI!
This collection of 12 gorgeous shades was originally released in October 2016 in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, one of my all-time favorite movies. Needless to say I scooped up the entire line when released for the 2016 holidays.
Apartment for Two
The first polish I swatched from the collection was Apartment for Two, a beautifully rich pink crème that is nearly a OCW. This polish is by no means original, however it’s a pretty pink that deserves a place in any nailista’s stash.
Black Dress Not Optional
Black Dress Not Optional is a fun black polish with silver shimmer undertones. The slight shimmer is the perfect way to jazz up a black for the holidays! I achieved full opacity in 2 coats.
Sunrise … Bedtime!
One of the two glitter toppers of the collection, Sunrise … Bedtime! is a gorgeous pink holographic glitter. This is the perfect glitter for a lovely gradient, as full opacity on its own is nearly impossible.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Next up is Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a beautiful cream laced with pink and gold microflakes. This polish is slightly sheer on initial application yet reaches an elegant opacity on the second coat.
Champagne for Breakfast
The second of the glitter toppers of the collection, Champagne for Breakfast is a silver holographic glitter that makes any manicure more striking. As with Sunrise … Bedtime!, this one is meant to be paired with another polish; I applied 4 coats as an accent and still didn’t reach full opacity with this beauty on its own (see macro below). She’s still fun to have on hand to spice up a crème polish!
Meet My “Decorator”
Meet My “Decorator” is a blood orange crème polish that packs a powerful punch! Formula applied like butter, was opaque in 2 coats and lends an incredible vibrancy to your nails. Yes please!
This shimmery champagne silver is Five-and-Ten. She’s a semi-sheer, foil-y beauty that required 3 coats for full opacity.
Fire Escape Rendezvous
Fire Escape Rendezvous is a shimmery red polish with large glitter chunks that dries to a matte finish. This looks amazing in the bottle, yet when applied to the nail lends an odd look that is not my taste. She became more palatable when I applied top coat. Pictured below is 2 coats.
Got the Mean Reds
This red crème is Got the Mean Reds and she’s the perfect classic polish for the holidays. Formula was great and was opaque in 2 buttery coats.
Can’t Read Without My Lipstick
This oxblood red totally knocked my socks off! Can’t Read Without My Lipstick is my favorite of the collection; her rich pigment and deep dark red is absolutely stunning. Pictured below is 2 coats.
Rich & Brazilian
This deep eggplant with purple and pink microglitter is Rich & Brazilian. She applied like a dream, was opaque in 2 coats and received many compliments when she bedazzled my nails. Love!
I Believe In Manicures
I Believe In Manicures is a powder blue polish with a lovely formula that was opaque in ~ you guessed it! ~ 2 coats. Her pigment is based on the iconic Tiffany Blue, however she’s not an exact match.
And there you have it, the OPI Limited Edition Breakfast at Tiffany’s Collection in all of her glory! What did you think of this collection? It was love at first paint for me! 😉
If you’re still looking to purchase polishes from this collection, I believe they are still available on select websites such as hbbeautybar.com, but act fast ~ since this is a Limited Edition Collection it won’t be around for always.
Thanks for stopping by!
