Hello polished friends! It’s Julep Maven review time! I can’t wait to share with you the nail and beauty products I received in my March Maven Box.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Julep, they offer access to their latest nail polish and beauty products via a monthly subscription box, the Maven Program. Each box costs $19.99 and contains products of $40 in value or more. There are 5 different style profiles to choose from (each containing different products) and you are free to switch to a different style each month if you so desire.
The March Maven offering is called The Riviera Collection and included many vibrant, refreshing spring colors. I opted for the Bombshell Style Profile box along with some add-ons this month, which included the following:
The Bombshell Box included two Julep polishes:
Monaco ($11.20 for Mavens / $14.00 full retail) is a vibrant blue described as a dazzling mariner blue crème. I’m a sucker for all things linguistic and sentimental and I had to select Monaco for my box since my hubby and I honeymooned there in 2009! I won’t be able to make it overseas anytime soon so I’m hoping I can live vicariously through this polish. 🙂
Lilou ($11.20 / $14.00) is a pastel yellow polish described as a lemon chiffon crème. I’m not crazy about yellow polishes but Lilou looked refreshing, light and perfect for spring.
I also opted to include 2 additional polishes in my maven box this month:
Tania ($11.20 / $14.00 ) is described as a multidimensional mermaid teal glitter. This polish had me at hello!
Lizanne ($11.20 / $14.00) is described as a sea green shimmer.
I’m dying for spring to kick into gear and these maritime polishes are the perfect inauguration! I’m also quite partial to all things teal, so Tania and Lizanne were must-haves for me.

March’s Bombshell Maven Box also included your choice of Julep Lip Gloss. I selected:
Julep Lip Gloss in Graceful ($16.00 / $20.00), described as a sheer pale pink gloss with subtle color, unstoppable shine and luscious hydration.
I also opted to add on the Luxury Lipcare Duo, which included:
Buff Lip Scrub ($16.00 / $20.00 ) described as an exfoliating, hydrating lip scrub that helps your lips feel smooth and moisturized right away.
Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment ($19.20 / $24.00), a lip moisturizer “enriched with natural ingredients that soothe, hydrate, and plump lips.”
I’m hoping that after exfoliating, hydrating and applying lip gloss, my lips will look entirely kissable! 🙂
In summary, my March Julep Maven Box contained items with a total value of $96 (Maven pricing) or $120 (regular retail). I paid $44.98 for the box, a great deal if you ask me!
