Hello Everyone! Today I would like to share with you the contents of the Influenster ModaVoxBox and my thoughts on each of the items. This was my third time receiving a VoxBox and it did not disappoint!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Influenster, it’s “a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds and educated consumers who love to give opinions of products and experiences. Members meet on Influenster.com to learn about and review products from their day-to-day lives. Its most active members are invited to participate in exclusive VoxBox programs where members receive complimentary products to test and review on social media.”
As pictured above, the Influenster ModaVoxBox included:
I tested this mascara out on Halloween last week (I dressed up as Selene from Underworld) and again yesterday and it really made my lashes pop! I particularly loved the added volume and lift that this mascara provides. The brush is weirdly shaped and took a bit of practice to use (Rimmel’s website terms it the “broken heart-shaped brush”), but the shape is actually another added benefit. The different twists and turns help the mascara touch hard-to-reach places and really helps to lift and amplify the lashes. This one’s a keeper!
Rimmel London Moisture Renew Transparent Lip Liner ($5.99 – $6.49) and Lipstick in Red Alert ($6.99 – $7.49)
The ModaVoxBox also included these two lovely lippies. The Moisture Renew Transparent Lip Liner is great at keeping lips hydrated underneath lipstick and is a great addition to your makeup arsenal for the colder months of Fall and Winter. It also prevents lip color from smudging for up to 7 hours. Winning! The Moisture Renew Lipstick in Red Alert is a vibrant burst of red for the lips that offers nice moisturizing color. Below is a picture of all three Rimmel London Makeup products included in the ModaVoxBox in action (mascara, lip liner and lipstick):
What a pleasant surprise that Influenster included the Puffs SoftPack in the ModaVoxBox! I suffer from rhinitis year round so I constantly need access to tissues and the SoftPack is the perfect product for me. The soft packaging allows for ease of transport and the package design is absolutely beautiful. The quality of the tissues is superior as well, never leaving my nose raw or red. For fun I tried my hand at a nail art design inspired by the Puffs SoftPack packaging:
I’ve used the Hair Food Moisture Mask included in the ModaVoxBox several times now and I am quite pleased with the results. My hair is soft and shiny and the dryness has practically vanished. The smell is fantastic (the formula is infused with honey and apricot fragrance!) and the product is paraben free which I prefer. You can pick up your own bottle of this magical hair potion at a Target new you. I plan on picking up another as soon as this one runs out!
The Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa sample included in the ModaVoxBox really hit the spot during this cold Fall weather. Influenster also included a coupon for a discount on a box of Simply Cocoa so I will be picking up more the next time I head to the grocery. I loved the light chocolately flavor and topped mine off with several marshmallows for the perfect pairing! Plus the ingredients are minimal (hence the “Simply” in the product name):
- Made with 5 simple ingredients – Cocoa, Nonfat Milk, Sugar, Salt, and Natural Flavor
- No artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no preservatives
I’d say everyone deserves a treat this tasty, especially with a cute sweater mug from Target and matching nails! 😉
I have extremely sensitive, somewhat dry skin (particularly at this time of year) so JERGENS Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer was a perfect addition to the ModaVoxBox for me. I happily accepted the JERGENS 1 Week to Gorgeous Challenge and have been pleased by the results. I basically applied the lotion to my hands upon retiring for the evening and awakening in the morning for one full week and it did indeed leave my skin feeling more hydrated and supple. My only complaint is that the lotion felt somewhat greasy upon initial application, however the lotion soaked nicely into my skin 5 minutes later so the greasiness wasn’t a deal breaker for me. It has a nice, light scent and eliminated dryness from my hands within several days of use. My hands and especially my cuticles are extraordinarily happy! The price tag is nice as well. 🙂
I’ve never been a huge fan of Gatorade and I’ve been looking for a natural spring water with electrolytes to replenish my body after workouts. Imagine my pleasant surprise when Influenster introduced me to Resource Spring Water in the ModaVoxBox. Finally a company is creating 100% Natural Spring Water with electrolytes that tastes great and supplies much-needed physiologic balance post-workout. So thankful for this product! Refresh, Revitalize, Replenish! This was my lunch just a few days ago:
Overall I am very pleased with the contents of the Influenster ModaVoxBox. I’ve already used the Rimmel London makeup products several times and the Jergens Lotion and Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask have been keeping my hands and hair hydrated now that cold weather is in full force.
