Hi Everyone! Today I’d like to share with you the tape mani I added to my Essie Fall in Line swatch to celebrate Autumn and all its crisp weather and cuddly comfiness. I particularly liked this design, which is ubiquitous on Instagram, because of its crisp lines that really pop.
For this manicure I used the following items:
- Polishes: In addition to base and top coat (I used OPI Nail Envy as my base coat and Poshé as my top coat) I used Essie Fall in Line and Merino Cool, Orly Voyeuristic Adventure and OPI Pop the Cork
- Striping Tape
- Medium-Sized Nail Art Dotter
I started out by painting a base of Essie Fall in Line and letting it dry completely. I then applied striping tape in the corresponding design and filled in the exposed lines with either Orly Voyeuristic Adventure or Essie Merino Cool using my medium-sized nail art dotter. Be sure to remove the striping tape immediately using tweezers so the polish isn’t partially dry when removal happens (otherwise your polish can become stringy and smear the design).
I then added a small glitter gradient to my middle and pinky fingernails using OPI Pop the Cork. After letting the design dry for a good 30 minutes, I applied one coat of Poshé Super Fast Drying Topcoat and called it a night!
I hope you love this mani as much as I loved wearing it! It’s perfect for Fall and begs to be seen.
Thanks for stopping by lovelies!
