Happy Friday polished friends! Today I would like to show you swatches of Essie’s Limo-Scene, a neutral nail polish that I recently scooped up as I was wandering through the beauty department at Target. This lovely lacquer lends a great touch of sophistication to your hands and has a pretty hint of pink.
Essie Limo-Scene is described as a sheer pastel-pink nail lacquer with a silky, chiffon-soft color (I found Limo-Scene to be more nude with a slight hint of pink rather than pastel-pink). This is a lovely classic neutral that would also work perfectly for a French manicure when paired with a white polish.
Limo-Scene would also be a great color to use as a primer for polishes with a bold pigment, particularly if the formula is lacking or streaky. Speaking of streaky, as with most sheer polishes Limo-Scene applies a little streaky at first but creates a beautiful classic nude when fully opaque (I used 3 coats to reach full opacity and topped this swatch off with INM Super Fast-Drying Topcoat).
Overall I found Essie Limo-Scene to be a refreshing, elegant polish and will likely be wearing it to an upcoming wedding. I love it’s versatility and beauty!
What do you think of this polish? I would love to know your thoughts so don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. Thanks for stopping by!
