I can’t wait to share the lovely polishes from the Spring 2017 Essie Gel Couture Ballet Nudes Collection with you today! This line was inspired by the romance and elegance of ballet and offers up a beautiful range of spring pastels and nudes.
First up is Perfect Posture, a stunning periwinkle blue that is my absolute favorite of the collection. The formula applied smoothly and required 2 coats for full opacity. Love!
Lace Me Up
Lace Me Up is a beautiful pink-leaning ivory that is a perfect neutral for spring. Pictured below is 2 coats with essie Gel Couture Top Coat.
Hold the Position
Next up is Hold the Position, a punchy coral pink that brightens the nails to an eye-catching loveliness. I see some floral nail art in my future with this beauty 🙂
At the Barre
At the Barre perfectly epitomizes ballet in my opinion! It brings to mind that perfect neutral nude color of ballet slippers and barre and sheer prettiness. The formula was another 2-coater and applied like a dream. Love the paddle shape of the brush in the Gel Couture line ~ it really speeds up the application process.
Satin Slipper is the ivory queen of this group! She has a subtle shimmer that lends a beautiful elegance to the nail. Formula was opaque in 3 coats with this one.
Last up is the appropriately named Closing Night. This cool gray packed with iridescent blue shimmer is a show stopper! She’s unique and has an understated beauty that is purrfection. Love!
Did you happen to get your paws on any of the polishes from the essie Gel Couture Ballet Nudes? If so, which was your favorite? I’m a sucker for the periwinkle blue Perfect Posture and the cool gray shimmer that is Closing Night.
Thanks for stopping by!
