Hello polished friends! Today I’m super excited to show you what I received in my April Nail Art Society Kit! I’ve been a subscriber for about 5 months now and I have yet to be disappointed by this polish subscription service.
If you aren’t familiar with the Nail Art Society, they offer a new way to try the latest nail art trends via their monthly subscription box. For $11.95 per month plus shipping and handling, they curate and deliver to your door the latest tools, polishes and nail accessories for you to recreate current nail trends at home. The Nail Art Society kits typically contain:
- one bottle of nail polish,
- one nail art tool, and
- one or two nail art accessories.
The theme for April’s kit was Festival Princess and contained the following:
- One of three NCLA Nail Lacquers (I received I’m With the Band)
- NCLA Nail Wraps in Summer of Love
- Marquise Gold Nail Studs
- One Orangewood Stick
Below is the manicure I completed with these materials. I’m really digging the retro vibe of this manicure, particularly since I’m a total hippie at heart and love to be whisked away to Woodstock at one glance of the nails! 😉
I’m a huge fan of the Summer of Love polish and the Oblong Gold Nail Studs, but somehow the wraps were a struggle for me. I love the patterns on the wraps, but I still haven’t been able to perfect my wrap application; since I’m quite the perfectionist this drives me crazy. Somehow I always end up with bubbles that I can’t seem to smooth out. I’m hoping that practice makes perfect as nail wraps last much longer than polish and the designs nowadays are fantastic.
The total value of this Nail Art Society Kit was $35, so I obtained these goodies at a significant discount ($11.95 plus shipping) and you can do the same in the future by signing up here! Also, if a subscription service is not your cup of tea, each month’s kit is available for sale a la carte on the Nail Art Society website, so you can always wait to see what’s included for a particular month and, if it suits your fancy, make a one-time purchase.
Thanks for stopping by my friends!
