Hello and Happy Spring! Today I would like to show you what I received in my Julep Maven Box for April. You won’t want to miss these vibrant, stunning nail polishes and beauty goodies!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Julep, they offer access to their latest nail polish and beauty products via a monthly subscription box, the Maven Program. Each box costs $19.99 and contains products of $40 in value or more. There are 5 different style profiles to choose from (each containing different products) and you are free to switch to a different style each month if you so desire.
The April Maven offering is called The Vivid Collection and included quite a few neon and metallic polishes along with some fabulous blush products. I opted for the Bombshell Style Profile box yet again and chose one polish add-on this month:
The Bombshell Box included two Julep polishes:
Julep Kayla ($11.20 for Mavens / $14.00 full retail) is described as an electric iris sheer with violet sheen and is worth it’s weight in shine! I knew immediately that I needed this polish when the Maven selection window opened. Swatches coming up soon in a separate post!
Julep Tatum ($11.20 / $14.00) is described as a neon chartreuse chrome and is quite the stunner! I can’t see myself wearing this polish on its own, however Tatum will likely be put to good use in some Spring nail art manicures in the near future. Plus who doesn’t want to think of Channing Tatum?! 😉 I’m not sure who the inspiration was for this shade, but I will choose to always think of Mr. Tatum when wearing this polish!
I also opted to use my Julep Jules rewards points to include one additional polish in my maven box this month free of charge:
Julep Flora ($11.20 / $14.00) is described as an exotic dragonfruit with blue shimmer. I absolutely love the sparkly blue flecks in this polish! They are hard to see in the photographs below, but trust me they are there and add another dimension of beauty to this nail lacquer.

April’s Bombshell Maven Box also included your choice of Julep Blush. I selected:
Julep Glow Pore Minimizing Blush in Petal Pink ($19.20 / $24.00), described as a groundbreaking blush that diffuses the appearance of pores and imperfections and gives cheeks a luminous shimmer. I’m excited to try this out since I currently only have bronzer.
In summary, my April Julep Maven Box contained items with a total value of $52.80 (Maven pricing) or $66.00 (full retail). I paid $19.99 for the box, a great deal if you ask me!
